One of the internet's most recognizable horror creations is making the jump to the big screen. According to an exclusive report from Deadline, Warner Bros Pictures is developing a feature film based on Trevor Henderson's viral creature Siren Head. Brian Duffield is set to be the director.

First introduced by artist Trevor Henderson in 2018 Siren Head quickly became a horror phenomenon online. The towering creature is known for the air raid sirens that replace its head and has appeared in fan games, videos, artwork, and countless online discussions becoming one of the defining original horror icons of the internet era.

Brian Duffield's involvement will excite any of you horror fans, and Brian has built a reputation through projects such as Spontaneous and No One Will Save You. He has earned praise for blending suspense, humor, and memorable characters in those films.

There is currently little information otherwise available, including release date, production date, or cast. This project marks a major milestone for Henderson's creation as it moves from internet folklore to a major studio adaptation. The meme adaptation comes after the success of short-form horror internet sensation adaptation Backrooms at the box office.

More information is expected as development on the film continues. CBC/DSR will continue to keep you updated.
